Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue. Replacement or partial refund of damaged items is made at the discretion of The Bud Club. Goods sold on thebudclub.store are perishable and the life span of flowers is dependent on species, resulting in some flower varieties living longer than others.
As flowers are a product of nature and thus have seasons, availability does vary. As a result, not all goods produced are as pictured on thebudclub.store. By purchasing goods from us, you are accepting these terms and conditions and acknowledging there may be discrepancies between images and produced goods.
Refunds
In the event of issues with goods received, The Bud Club must be notified immediately. If deemed appropriate, a partial or full refund will be processed via your original payment method within 3 business days. Refunds can take up to 30 business days to be received by a customer depending on the payment method selected at the time of ordering.
Cancellations
TheBudClub does not offer refunds for cancellations due to change of mind. For issues relating to an order, please contact us via email ASAP at hello@thebudclub.store. You may be offered a credit to be used at a later date, or we can create another arrangement to the same value.
Delivery
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure delivery addresses are correct and complete when placing an order through thebudclub.store. Our couriers do their best to deliver goods in hand to the recipient, however, when a delivery address is unattended it may be necessary to leave goods at the address. All efforts will be made to leave goods out of view from the street and protected from weather. The Bud Club cannot accept responsibility for any damage incurred to the goods once delivered, whether accepted by the recipient or left unattended. In the event that either delivery option is not possible, goods will be returned to The Bud Club, incurring additional fees to the purchaser. Collection of goods from The Bud CLub is available or the redelivery of goods. The redelivery of goods will incur an additional delivery fee to the purchaser.
Changes to a delivery address may not be possible once an order has been placed. Please contact hello@thebudclub.store immediately to discuss options for address adjustment or redelivery.
Delivery times vary depending on the delivery address and courier. However, The Bud Club will ensure goods are delivered on the day specified in the order unless agreed to otherwise between The Bud Club and the customer.
For same day deliveries, orders must be placed by 11am AEST.
The Bud Club delivers to most Gold Coast suburbs, including Tweed Heads, within 30kms of our studio in Mermaid Beach, QLD. For delivery outside of this zone, please get in touch prior to placing an order, as if possible, additional delivery fees may apply.
STUDIO HIRE
Rates & Availability
The Bud Club studio is available for hire on Friday evenings and weekends. Half-day hire (5 hours): $600.00 plus GST, full Day (8 hours): $1000.00 plus GST. Load-in is permitted after 3.00pm on Fridays. Load-in is permitted after 6.00am on weekends. All events must conclude by or at 9.00pm. Load-out must be completed no later than 10.00pm. Any extension of booking hours beyond the agreed-upon time will incur an additional charge.
Cleaning
A cleaning fee of $150.00 plus GST will be applied to each booking.Â
Damage to Property
The client is liable for any damage made to the property and surrounding property, including but not limited to walls, electrical fittings, furniture, plumbing, doors and windows, for the duration of the event hire. This includes damage made by anyone in attendance of an event held by a client at the property. The Bud Club will evaluate the extent of damage immediately after an event and may deem fit that the client pays for repairs or replacement of damaged property. The client is encouraged to advise of any damage caused during the hire period (including load in and out) immediately via phone or email.Â
Furniture Hire
Limited seating and fixed benches are available for use during all events. Any additional furniture or dressing required must be provided by the client at their own expense. The Bud Club is unable to store external furniture or event supplies before the event's load-in. The client is responsible for any damages to the studio premises or equipment during the event, or when loading in or out.
Glassware and Crockery
A limited selection of glassware is available to hire upon request and for an additional fee. Clients will be charged for any damages and/or breakage of hired glassware. All crockery and cutlery must be provided by the client for an event.
Code of Conduct
The client and their guests are expected to adhere to all studio regulations and behave in a respectful manner. Any damage to the studio premises or equipment caused by the client or their guests will be the financial responsibility of the client.
Smoking and Alcohol
Smoking is strictly prohibited within the studio premises. The consumption of alcohol is permitted, but the client is responsible for ensuring that all guests consume alcohol responsibly and are of legal drinking age. The Bud Club discourages and is not liable for the use of illegal substances on the property, or the irresponsible consumption of alcohol by anyone in attendance.
Liability
The Bud Club is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of client/guests belongings during the event, including property hired from external parties by the client for use during their event. The client is liable for any damage to the studio and surrounds made by the client and/or their guests during the event (including load in/out periods). If damage occurs, clients will be invoiced for the costs of repair or replacement of property, to be paid immediately.
Conflict of Interest/Non-Compete
The client is not permitted to engage an external florist for any event held at The Bud Club. Any flowers and/or floral arrangements are to be provided, styled, and installed exclusively by The Bud Club if required, for an agreed fee to be discussed a minimum 2 weeks prior to the event.Â
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made less than two weeks before the scheduled event will result in the forfeiture of the entire booking fee. The Bud Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the booking in case of unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be provided.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least two weeks prior to the scheduled event date. Any additional fees incurred from the hire of the space will be invoiced immediately after the event and should be paid upon reception.
Acceptance of Terms
The client hereby agrees to all terms and conditions outlined above upon agreeing to hire The Bud Club and paying their deposit.Â
